Also known as a Wild Iris. It is a Native Australian Flower that flowers for less than
a day. But more flowers can appear the next day. Often flowers after rain in Springtime. The beautiful purple colour stands out in the bush. It is used in Bush Flower Essences. It is a joy to come across this flowers when walking through the bushland around Brisbane, and this one I found flowering along the coastline at Noosa.
